Placeholders are stable inside one result, so the same original value maps to the same label. Multiline key removal preserves the original line count.

The downloaded report includes masked previews, positions, and placeholders but deliberately omits the original secret values.

    What this first release recognizes

Private-key blocks, authorization and cookie values, URL credentials, secret query parameters, common vendor token shapes, sensitive named assignments, emails, IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, MAC addresses, UUIDs, home-directory users, shell prompts, and common hostname declarations.

Why the result still needs a human

Secrets can use arbitrary names and formats. Context can also make an otherwise ordinary value private. This tool reduces common accidental leaks; it cannot prove that a document is anonymous or harmless.
