Files, feeds, text, and generated values

The tools process selected files, pasted feed source, OPML subscriptions, pasted text, generated passwords, tokens, UUIDs, checksums, timestamps, and conversion results inside your browser. They do not send that content to VaderVPN Tools. Temporary sessions, previews, and download URLs exist only in the current browser context and are released when the page closes, reloads, or the input changes. Nothing is added to the persistent local workspace unless you separately choose its import control.

Feed workspace

The local feed workspace does not retrieve feed or article URLs. Its browser policy blocks network connections, and it uses no local storage or indexed database. HTTP and HTTPS links found in user-provided feeds are displayed for review; following one is a separate navigation you initiate.

Safe to Share sanitizer

The sanitizer processes pasted or selected text in browser memory and does not upload it. Original matches can be revealed on screen only when you activate that control. Its downloadable report includes masked previews and sanitized text, not the raw matched values. Pattern matching can miss secrets, so users must review output before publishing it.

yt-dlp recipe builder

The recipe builder validates media URLs and generates quoted commands and option files locally. It does not contact the supplied URLs, run yt-dlp, download media, or store a URL history. Generated option files omit source URLs. The builder does not accept credentials, cookies, plugins, executable hooks, or arbitrary extra arguments.

Bulk image manifest

The image manifest builder parses HTML, CSS, HAR, and URL-list text locally. It does not fetch, preview, test, or download extracted image URLs. Clicking a displayed source link is a separate navigation you initiate. Exports contain only the current filtered manifest and are created in browser memory.

Microphone recording and audio editing

The audio editor requests microphone permission only after you activate Start recording. Browser MediaRecorder produces a temporary local recording, Web Audio decodes it in the page, and the microphone stream is stopped when recording ends. Imported audio, decoded samples, edit parameters, previews, and WAV output are not uploaded. They disappear when cleared or reloaded unless you explicitly download the WAV or save it to the separate local workspace.

Offline app copy and local workspace

The site registers a same-origin service worker so supported browsers can recognize an installable application. It does not download the complete offline copy automatically. Activating “Download for offline use” stores the site's public pages, code, styles, icons, and vendored libraries in browser Cache Storage. The separate local workspace writes only files you explicitly import to IndexedDB. It is limited to 200 files, 50 MB per file, and 200 MB total. The Offline panel shows and deletes both categories separately; browser site-data controls can erase them as well.

Browser storage is best-effort by default and may be evicted. Requesting durable storage asks the browser to reduce automatic eviction, but does not protect data from manual clearing, profile loss, private-mode shutdown, or device failure. Important files still need an independent copy.

Website requests

Like other websites, the server necessarily receives requests for pages, scripts, styles, and images. Operational logs may contain an IP address, timestamp, requested path, response status, referrer, and user-agent information. These logs are used for security, reliability, and aggregate service measurement.

Accounts, cookies, clipboard, and browser storage

The tools require no account, set no application cookies, and do not automatically persist tool inputs. The explicit offline and local-workspace controls use Cache Storage and IndexedDB as described above; no application feature uses localStorage. Copy buttons request clipboard write access only after you activate them. Browser or network providers may independently retain information according to their own settings and policies.

Advertising and third parties

The initial release contains no advertising or third-party analytics. If either is introduced, this notice and the consent behavior will be updated before those services load.
